What is the Greatest Movie Ever Made

One of the most popular reasons that people attend movies is the conversations and discussions which they spawn. One such example is what is the greatest movie ever made? While there are thousands of horrible movies out there, there are also some redeeming modern cinema greats. Film classics such as The Godfather, The Shawshank Redemption and Star Wars.

Going back a bit earlier to a more classical era, there are movies such as The Wizard of Oz. Made in 1939, it is a Technicolor masterpiece, brilliantly capturing the tale of Dorothy and her metaphorically-rich trip to Oz. Another unforgettable classic from 1939 was Gone with the Wind. Based on Margaret Mitchell’s novel it captured the imagination of the US public as Clark Gable and Vivien Leigh brought the epic tale to life.

It won the Academy Award for Best Picture as did Titanic. James Cameron’s movie took film-making to soaring new heights. At the time critics spoke against his methods, saying that he was treating the studio’s money as his own and he was gambling with it as if he was at 7red casino. Ultimately, Cameron was laughing all the way to the bank. Thankfully for 7red casino, Cameron was not, in fact, playing there, or they would have faced a massive payout. The Titanic went on to become the highest grossing movie of all time.

Orson Welles was a truly gifted artist, a fact which is clearly discernible from Citizen Kane. Although it was snubbed by the Academy Awards – in no way can this take away from its amazing brilliance. Welles starred, wrote and directed the movie which is a definitive classic in every way.

Another gifted individual was Peter Sellers and when combined with the equally Viagra Jelly gifted Stanley Kubrick in Dr Strangelove the results were truly remarkable. Sellers played three different characters and was superb in all of them. Kubrick was also behind such cinematic classics as Paths of Glory, A Clockwork Orange, 2001 and Full Metal Jacket.

The 1960s were an epic period for classic films such as The 10 Commandments, Lawrence of Arabia and Doctor Zhivago. These were all huge, lasting productions. They were also, however, quite long – some interminably so. Sitting through a convoluted plot that is stretched out excessively is their only detraction.

If you like to be scared, than Jaws set a new bar for making you sit on the edge of your seat. Steven Spielberg’s 1975 classic redefined movie making in so many different ways. It was a fantastic movie which was technically superb. The “Spielberg” name went on to become synonymous with Hollywood. He directed Saving Private Ryan which is a tour de force that leaves you gasping for air, and the 1983 classic ET.

Ultimately it doesn’t matter what the single best movie is. Fortunately for us, there are many genres and movies out there. Whether it is Raging Bull or Back to the Future or All About Eve or The Sting it is up to you. Turns the lights Kamagra down, get the popcorn ready and have a good time.
