NFL Tickets – Fantasy: Bargain Bin Quarterbacks

While it’s nice to land a quarterback like Peyton Manning or Drew Brees on your fantasy team, owners have to pay a pretty hefty price in order to secure them. Cialis Jelly One might be better off using early-round picks on other positions and seeking out good value picks at quarterback later in the draft. Here are some signal callers that could end up being bargains in 2010:

Joe Flacco, Baltimore Ravens: Flacco has been solid in his first two seasons as a pro, and he showed significant improvement from year one to year two. The Baltimore quarterback could experience a major spike in production in 2010 due to more experience and some added weapons. For the first time in his career, Flacco has a legitimate number one receiver as his disposal in Anquan Boldin. The additions of Boldin and two talented rookie tight ends, as well as further development from running back Ray Rice, could result in a big year for Flacco.

Eli Manning, New York Giants: Manning is one of the most underrated fantasy quarterbacks. One would think that a guy who threw up 4,000 yards and 27 touchdowns in 2009 would be receiving a little more attention. The Giants struggled to run the ball and play defense last season, but the passing attack flourished. With a young group of receivers that should only improve with time, Manning should be a fantasy player on the rise.

Chad Henne, Miami Dolphins: Henne might not sell a ton of NFL tickets outside of Miami or Ann Arbor, Mich., as he wasn’t a big name in college and hasn’t made his mark in the NFL yet, but he’s got major potential, both in reality and in fantasy. Henne has a strong arm and showed impressive poise for a first-time starter in 2009. With Brandon Marshall now in the fold in Miami, Henne has a big target to go to consistently, as well as a deep threat. The Dolphins offense could really take off this season, and Henne could put up some big numbers.

Matthew Stafford, Detroit Lions: Stafford showed maturity, poise and toughness to go with his rocket arm last season. He could truly be a star in the making and fantasy owners would be wise to scoop him up in the later rounds in 2010. Stafford has probably the most physically gifted wide receiver in the league in Calvin Johnson, a well as a variety of new weapons. The team brought in wideout Nate Burleson in the offseason to play opposite of Johnson and added Tony Scheffler as a pass-catching tight end. The Lions also drafted running back Jahvid Best, who boasts above average skills as a receiver out of the backfield. With these new weapons, a healthy Megatron and a year in the pros under his belt, Stafford could really turn some heads in 2010.

Carson Palmer, Cincinnati Bengals: Palmer has become the forgotten man in fantasy. Once a Top 5 quarterback, Palmer has struggled to regain his elite status since his knee injury a few years ago. However, 2010 could be a bit of a revival tour for the former top pick. With the additions of Terrell Owens, Antonio Bryant and rookie tight end Jermaine Gresham, Palmer has the best group of targets of his career. He’s worth a shot in the later rounds.
