My Top 3 Favorite Las Vegas Grand Canyon Bus Tours

Summer is here and that means it\’s time to lock down that Las Vegas bus tour to the Grand Canyon. The problem is that there are so many form which to choose. So, to make planning easier, here\’s my list of the top 3 tours that depart daily to America\’s #1 National Park.

My #1 Favorite

My first pick is the one that leaves from Vegas and goes to the West Rim and includes a VIP ticket to the Grand Canyon Skywalk. The bus lets you off right near the Skywalk complex and the ticket that you get lets you cut to the front of the line (very important during summer when it\’s busy).

The Skywalk is by far Las Vegas\’ best outdoor attraction. It\’s an all-glass bridge that lets travelers walk an amazing 70 feet over the edge until they are standing a heart-pounding 3,500 feet over the bottom. The views are superior to anywhere else in the Canyon, especially those of Eagle Point and Guano Point.

My #2 favorite bus tour also goes to the West Rim and it includes a helicopter ride to the bottom followed by a boat ride down the famous Colorado River, the waterway that created the Canyon over the millennia. The helicopter descent is 3,500 feet and it\’s a ride you\’ll never forget. The boat takes you up stream and downstream via the heart of the River.

South Rim

My #3 bus tour is the one that goes to the South Rim and includes a helicopter tour. The South Rim is 5.5 hours or 277 miles away from Las Vegas so this is a true road trip. The helicopter ride goes from the South Rim to the North Rim and back. In all, it\’s a real 30-minute thrill ride that takes in the best the Canyon has to offer.

Please understand that Vegas bus tours are all-inclusive and that means they come with all taxes, fees, surcharges, lunch, guide service and more. For the price, you simply can\’t beat them, especially if you book online and in advance and get the Internet discount rate (the absolute lowest price!).

Bus tours require a full day to complete. They typically leave once a day in the morning around 7 a. M. And get back around 9 p. M. In the evening. They are available every day of the week including all major holidays except Christmas day. Lastly, packages include complimentary pick up and drop off at all major Las Vegas Strip hotels.

Conclusion

I hope this article about bus tours from Las Vegas to the Grand Canyon helped you plan your trip. Keep in mind that buses go to the West Rim and the South Rim, and that two of my top 3 go to the West Rim and one to the South Rim. I also strongly urge you to purchase your bus ticket in advance as these trips are hyper-popular and sell out all the time. Lastly, do yourself a favor and book your tour over the Internet. By doing so you\’ll not only save time but you\’ll also save money.
