When? Timing is very important here. Develop a sense of timing that will ensure your contributions are seen and heard and are relevant to the topic or subject. There is a time to speak and also a time to be silent.

Why? To convert the listeners in the audience, you need to know why they should listen to you – and explain to them if necessary.
