Folks, there are a lot of ways to visit the Grand Canyon from Las Vegas. Options range from bus to airplane. But by far the most popular and exciting option is helicopter.

There\’s another Vegas helicopter that flies to the top of the rim and lands. This one typically comes with tickets to the Grand Canyon Skywalk, which is the glass bridge that lets you stroll up to 70-feet over the edge.

Air Only

There are also air-only tours available and they, too, come in basic and deluxe. These are your cheapest option and typically last 3-hours from hotel to hotel and are ideal for travelers who have limited time to experience the Canyon.

I need to mention that you must book these helicopter rides in advance. How far in advance? Try two weeks. There are two reasons for this. The first is that helicopters can only hold six people. And second, these trips are popular and nearly always sell out.

Final tip: Book your flight online. It\’s safe, secure and very convenient. Further, it\’s the only way I know of to get the Internet rate, which, on certain tours, can save you up to 35% on the ticket price. That\’s a huge savings, especially if you are booking two seats or more.
