Ready For a Bodily Change?

Are you ready to achieve the body shape you have always wanted to have without the need for calorie counting, starving yourself, participating in boring workouts, performing hundreds of crunches, or making the gym your second home?

As a dieter who failed several times, I was always under the impression that it the primary rule for a nice body was eating less and working out more. Apparently I was completely wrong! It seems I was believing too many myths to obtain the awesome body I wanted.

It’s time to forget all the old myths and see how simple it is to get the body you want!

Myth 1: Cardio exercises, which is pretty much aerobics, are what makes for a sucessful weight loss. If you wish to drop unwanted weight, you must do hours and hours of aerobics.

This is so NOT true! Aerobic exercises are basically a total waste of your time. In the “before” picture of me, I was doing 9 or more hours of cardio each week. In my “after” image, I wasn’t doing any…not the least little bit.

Myth 2: A professional personal trainer is an expert on fitness who will assist you in reaching your goals.

This is sadly not true most of the time. In my journey for a better body, I employed several different fitness trainers to help me. I wasted thousands of my own hard earned money. Only one trainer was able to assist me, and he lives out in Los Angeles. The rest were pretty much just milking me for more sessions. This is what I’ve learned from my experience with personal trainers:

– Getting certified means absolutely nothing.

– Most “experts” don’t have a clue and if they do help you get results, it’s totally by accident

– The majority of personal trainers are not honest and are just trying to get the most money out of you as possible. When I started as a trainer, my manager would always insist that I “hold back information at each session. You want to make sure they return for a long time.”

However, my ideas are completely the opposite of this. I prefer to over deliver and provide my customers with all the methods and support they needed to change their bodies. Then I like to relax and enjoy all of the referrals I receive because they were so content with the outcomes they received.

Myth 3: You want to use light weights to tone your body.

What? This is so untrue! Lifting weights that are too light for you is just as effective as not exercising at all. For both weight loss and muscle tone in males and females, you will need heavy weights that are good enough to kick your butt.

Myth 4: You have to eat less to lose weight.

This may be the case for a select few, but not for almost all. It really just depends on the individual and how much they are consuming to begin with. For my own changes, I ate more food than before. I went from 2200 to 2600 and then up to 3500 calories each day.

Myth 5: I could make this work by myself

I seriously doubt it! Even now, I continue to spend a good deal of cash on more coaching for exercise and nutrition. Thankfully, you will not need to look through all the terrible and below average trainers and fitness experts out there that can get you the results you want.

Myth 6: Tons of crunches will give you rock hard abs.

This is just wrong…all the way around. You already have a six pack underneath your belly fat right now. The secret is to boost your metabolism and strip away the fat. Crunches will not assist with either. I did zero crunches in my transformation.

Today is yesterday’s tomorrow. It is time to stop letting seconds pass you by feeling like you have no energy, too much fat, and not enough fitness in your life. Avoid continuing to settle for less than what you really are.
