If you are looking for some Christmas invitation ideas for your upcoming Christmas birthday party or your annual Christmas soiree, here are some fun and festive options to consider. They will help to set the mood, entice your guests to attend, and bring a smile upon the rest.

CHRISTMAS WREATH INVITATION IDEA – Cut an 8 1/2″ x 11″ piece of textured white card stock into four pieces. Put all of your party details on one side. Cut out 8-12 small circles from green card stock, glue them to the white in an overlapping fashion to create a wreath shape. Decorate the wreathS with tiny buttons, pearls, ribbons, glitter, etc.

ORNAMENT INVITATION IDEA – Cut out a round or oval ornament shape from a piece of foam-backed colored poster board. Put all of your party details on one side. Decorate the other side with glitter, pearls, decorative scrapbook papers, ribbons, puff paint, etc. Create an ornament hanger by gluing a ribbon loop to the top.

SANTA HAT INVITATION IDEA – Write the name of your guest on the white part of a Santa hat. Using decorative scissors, cut an 8 1/2″ x 11″ piece of Christmas scrapbook paper into four pieces. Write your party details on one side and then glue the invite to a red doily. Run a ribbon through one of the doily’s holes and tie to the ball at the end of the Santa hat.

SILVER BELL INVITATION IDEA – Using decorative scissors, cut an 8 1/2″ x 11″ piece of silver scrapbook paper into four pieces. Put your party details on one side and then glue the invite to a green doily. Glue a sprig of Christmas greenery to a silver bell, along with some red berries and tie the invite to the bell using a Christmas plaid ribbon.

CHRISTMAS TREE INVITATION IDEA – Cut a tree shape out of a piece of green foam-backed poster board. Write all of your Christmas party details on one side. Bring your tree to life by decorating and embellishing it with puff paint, glitter, pearls, ribbons, buttons, sequins, etc.

SNOWFLAKE INVITATION IDEA – To create this fun invite, you will need a snowflake rubber stamp, along with a silver ink pad. Depending upon the size of your rubber stamp, cut an 8 1/2″ x 11″ piece of light blue card stock into two or four pieces. Using an ample amount of ink, stamp one side of the card with your snowflake rubber stamp and quickly sprinkle silver glitter over your imprint while the ink is still wet. Allow a minute for the ink to dry, then shake off the excess glitter and voila! you have a beautiful glitzy snowflake invite.
