Relationship Based Marketing For Your Personal Trainer Marketing Business

Can I do you a favor, and save you from the time and headache of trying to figure out which personal trainer marketing program would work out best for you?

Of course you would love for me to tell you about any system that is going to be effective, and that won’t have you spending a whole lot of time or money on it, right?

Well here it is; it’s called relationship based marketing. You will reap the benefits of this by simply using methods of creating relationships, trust, and customer loyalty, instead of using cold print ads and obnoxious flyers to do all of the work for you.

Now don’t get me wrong, print ads and flyers have their purpose. They help to start the conversation about your personal trainer business. But an advert or a flyer doesn’t attact customer trust or loyalty, as I’m sure you know and understand.

So, let’s talk about some built in issues that might be standing in the way of using this method for your personal trainer marketing. First, you might be too busy to accomplish this, but you know that you can’t be too busy to bring in new business. Second, would you be able to come up with a system to follow through with this relationship building? Third, you might be at a loss of words regarding what to say to people. You might be very knowledgable about your services, and why people need them. But you might not know how to talk to people one-on-one.

Well that’s valid. But here’s how you can address all of that.

A. Start an online newsletter. A newsletter informs, and shares. People can subscribe to your newsletter. This will give them something else in their lives to look forward to. If you can get people hooked, then you’re given your personal trainer marketing a huge boost. Now people trust you, and have a vested interest in what you have to say. This leads to…

B. Once you get your new subscribers, make sure that they are telling their friends, and refering them to your online newsletter. Again, if people feel good about you, or feel that they need your services, they will be sure that their friends and associates feel the same way.

C. Now that you’ve drawn people in, make sure that your online newletter is chocked-full of content, and that the said content is enjoyable. Leave your subscribers wanting more, and wanting to know about your personal trainer services. Otherwise, you’re wasting time and energy if they don’t want to read what you have to say.

D. Be consistent. Don’t start your newsletter, just to let it fall by the wayside. This makes people angry, and they will never pay attention to what you have to say. Lack of consistency breaks trust, and relationships. Plan a publishing schedule and stick to it.

Try this, you’ll love the results for your personal trainer marketing campaign!
