Speculation About the New Harry Potter Movie

So the new Harry Potter is out soon. There are all sorts of crazy rumours spreading over the cinema world about what will be included, what will be cut and some of the crazy special effects. Well, below we take you through just some of the strange rumours that are currently appearing all over the internet.

1) The film is 147 minutes long. Alright this isn’t so much a crazy rumour as a probable fact. Apparently this makes it the third shortest Potter film so far, but it is only half of one book, so you can’t really blame them.

2) The Split will be after they have been captured. Again just another speculation, but most people seem to agree that the first part will be cut just after the trio are captured in the wood; the second film will open with them at Malfoy Manor. This holds no huge surprises, because not only is it approximately half way through the book, but the return of the beloved character Ron would be a good place to cut it.

3) It will be in 2D, no 3D, no 2D. With the release of the 3D theatre hitting the big screen, there was huge speculation over whether Harry Potter would be released in 3D. It appears that the producers have made up their minds, and are sticking to the conventional 2D showing, they said they were concerned too many special effects may ruin the feel of the movie.

4) It will be shown with ‘moving seats’. According to a press release from the company, there is going to be special movement technology which means the seats within the cinema move: This seventh instalment and first part to the final act, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: “Part 1 is the second movie of the Harry Potter franchise to feature D-BOX’s Motion Technology. During scenes of dramatic flight and fierce battle, moviegoers will feel subtle motion effects directly from their seats that occur in perfect sync with the onscreen movie action, resulting in a completely realistic, immersive movie experience”. Whether you believe it or not, there is certainly a huge amount of speculation as to whether this will happen!

5) It is going to be a very ‘different movie’. In recent interviews, when any of the actors have been asked about their take on the film, they all seem to say, it will be a very ‘different’ movie; when asked to elaborate, they say the characters are shown in different lights and it frankly gets a bit ‘messed up’. And of course the producers and actors are all parroting the usual line ‘it is the darkest film yet’.

So, whether you believe any of the speculation of not, there is no denying this is probably the most talked about film of this year, and is bound to have a huge influx of cinema goers queuing to see it. Whether they’ll experience moving seats, or the darkest film yet, we can’t tell, but with only weeks left until the release, it won’t be long to wait.
