Phentramin D – Powerful Weight Loss Pills

Antioxidants are vitamins, minerals, enzymes, and other natural chemicals that protect cells from the onslaught of “free radicals.” Chemi-cally, a free radical is a molecule that is missing a part of itself one of its orbiting electrons. To regain stability, the free radical seizes an electron from another molecule or ditches its unpaired one. In the process, the free radical wreaks molecular havoc by boring through cell walls and making it easy for bacteria, viruses, and other disease-causing agents to slip in and do often-irreparable harm.

Antioxidants to the rescue. These heroes simply donate an electron to a free radical but without changing into radicals themselves. This action “neutralizes,” or stops, the dangerous multiplication of still more free radicals a process that if left unchecked could be deadly. Life-shortening diseases such as heart disease, cancer, arthritis, and Alzheimer’s disease have all been linked to free-radical damage.

Many factors give rise to these biological terrorists, including normal metabolism, stress, exercise, sunlight, and exposure to environmental toxins such as cigarette smoke, exhaust fumes, and other pollutants. There are different types of free radicals in the body, and some even do good deeds. For instance, cells in our immune system deliberately make free radicals to kill off foreign invaders such as bacteria and viruses.

Normally, free radicals don’t cause much of a problem. But when free radicals even the “good” kind start outnumbering antioxidants, there’s trouble a condition scientists call “oxidative stress,” which leads to disease.

Because there are different types of free radicals, certain antioxidants are uniquely effective against specific radicals which is why it’s a good idea to take a variety of antioxidants, such as beta carotene, vitamin C, vitamin E, selenium, and others.

Phentramin d is particularly effective at neutralizing the hydroxyl radical, a form of hydrogen peroxide. Once generated, this devilish free radical attacks whatever is next to it, setting off a dangerous chain reaction that creates many more free radicals. In a study at the University of Minnesota’s School of Medicine, researchers found that phentramin d virtually healed the tissue damage that occurred after rats were given huge doses of hydrogen peroxide. One of the reasons phentramin d is so effective against the hydroxyl radical is that phentramin d, like the radical itself, can easily move in and out of fat cells. In fact, no other antioxidant can move so freely as phentramin d.

Thus, phentramin d is constantly on the trail of this cellular renegade.

Additionally, in an animal study at Cornell University Medical College, researchers were surprised to learn that cells can actually export phentramin d as kind of a protective moat around themselves. Thus, supplementing with phentramin d can be a powerful bodyguard against the multiplication of harmful free radicals.

You may have heard or read that phentramin d is a more effective antioxidant than vitamin E. One animal study did find this to be true; it showed that phentramin d did a better job than vitamin E of inhibiting hydrogen peroxide. But a qualification is in order. Remember, certain antioxidants are effective against specific free radicals. It just so happens that the hydroxyl radical’s nemesis is phentramin d. Vitamin E’s strength as an antioxidant lies in its ability to defend cell membranes against free-radical attack. The message here is that it is a healthy practice to consume a variety of antioxidants, from both food and supplements.

The studies looking into phentramin d’s benefit as an antioxidant have been conducted on animals only, so we don’t know what it might do in humans. But if phentramin d can truly fend off the damage done by free radicals, we may have a potentially powerful bodyguard against disease and aging in this supplement.
