One particular situation and this is a read for people looking to get married in the winter and their choice in footwear. Finding appropriate shoes for a wedding is not the easiest as they will have a number of jobs to do like keep you feet warm, dry and comfortable. That said though the main idea of the shoes is to complement the outfit and ensure that they match with everything else around them aswell. Avoiding sandal wedding shoes is probably best in the winter.
If you are considering wedding shoes for a winter wedding then you should certainly consider a classic style which is more closed with a little bit of a heel but nothing too big. AS above they should be keeping your feet warm and dry but at the same time they should be something you can show off with the rest of your wedding dress. The idea with an outfit is it’s supposed to follow a certain theme and your shoes should also keep to that.
All that said you may think that you have to sacrifice the style of your shoes to accommodate the above but that is not the case as shoes are widely available for women in almost any style you can think of. You can still go for the extremely bright or bold colours or styling that stands out from the norm. If you are really looking to keep you feet warm for your wedding then consider wedding boots, we don’t mean builders boots here but there are many places that sell elegant unobtrusive wedding boots that go brilliantly with dresses.
All that said remember as the bride you are not the only person to consider as you do need think about what your bridesmaids are wearing and whether they will be comfortable in the wedding shoes they are wearing. As well as your shoes matching the same criteria applies for them within your wedding and it would be folly to ignore them. Let’s face if you and your bridesmaids need to consider the above then no doubt your partner and partners best man will also need to consider this aswell.
