The trick is to not compliment her on something obvious that she has probably heard her entire life, such as the color of her eyes. Instead, only compliment her if you can notice something that is genuinely different about her and something that took some effort on her part.

For instance, you can compliment her on how her scarf matches or brings out her eye color. This is something she worked to do. Unlike complimenting her on the color of her eyes, something she was just born with.

Tease. This works especially well on the most beautiful girls in the room. They are so used to men just falling all over them, that they rarely have a guy who teases them. If you have enough self-confidence to gently tease a girl, she will most likely respond to you in a favorable manner.

This is also a fun way to flirt. It harkens back to elementary school when that is how we boys showed our interest in a girl, we chased her and teased her, made her blush. Women were once those little girls who blushed. They remember.

Just make sure when you tease, it is lighthearted and gentle and not something that could truly heart someone’s feelings.
