A Trip To The Factory

Our son is high functioning autistic; he is sixteen years old and has the mental ability of someone about eight. He looks normal, talk’s normal, has no physical limitation, but due to the fact that he was born nine weeks premature, he struggles with the part of his brain that controls logic and maturity.

It is hard to watch him grow Kamagra up with very little of the social skills necessary to find his place in the world. He wants friends, he understand friendships he just has a hard time thinking of other people wants above his own. He is obsessed with games, Halo, Modern Warfare, Pokemon and others. While these games interest him, he has no concept that they don’t interest everybody and people don’t want to listen to him talk about them all the time.

He is in a special class adapted for kids with learning disabilities; part of the curriculum is to explore possible prescription cialis generic jobs options. He and the other boys in his class have toured auto body shops, hospitals, factories and other facilities to see where their skills lay and what might interest them.

We visited a candy factory last fall; I was able to go on the field trip with the boys who range in age from 15 to 18.

They were mesmerized with the conveyor belts, the small vacuum pumps, the pistons, the shafts, cialis dosage daily pipes, automation of so many things. This trade struck our son as his life pursuit. He wants to work in the candy factory with all its moving parts and pieces. Sugar floated through the air almost as it is turned into confections of all kinds and flavors. Nothing is more intriguing to a kid than tons of sugar piped onto a factor floor where it is churned, molded, flavored, combined, glazed, and covered with chocolate to become a dream come true in the form of a box of chocolate covered raspberry sticks. I think he found his calling in life.

While our son may never be the president of Texaco if he can keep his enthusiasm up, he may be a productive factory worker provided he is pumping out candy.
