Life Coaching with NLP

I don’t think John Grinder and Richard Bandler knew what they were starting!

A university professor and a student, studying the best therapists available, learning how they did what they did. Non clinicians getting the results the trained ‘professional’s were getting! Crazy!

As a life coach Kamagra Soft and trainer I am pretty Levitra pleased with their audacity and daring. Because of their work in the 70’s and beyond we have a body of techniques that are completely results-based and enable a client to create instant transformation.

Life coaching is more the question and answer model, which has it’s place. But its drawback is it can be SLOW! You ask questions, probably using the GROW Model, the client commits to a path forward, the client leaves the session to go and act on the agreed tasks, and then reports back to held accountable.

Basic coaching.

NLP could do this, AND it could enable the life coach to use a couple of techniques that remove the self-doubt and fear that has held the client back until then, enabling them to move forward straight away with a sense of certainty and even excitement.

For example, a client wants to go on a holiday with their family. What’s stopping them is their fear of heights. (This is a true story of a client I helped at a live event recently) They were really wanting to go with their family, and felt they were letting them down.

Life coaching would have meant lots of questions, but I don’t see how that would be enough to get the client on the plane and up the mountain.

NLP however, has the answer. It took less than ten minutes for the client to be completely over the phobia of heights. The holiday was booked that afternoon. I have the photo of the client on top of a skyscraper waving out over the city.

Since then they’ve felt more confident, more excited and full of possibilities for what else they can do.

I have no idea how I coached before NLP. I now teach it. Right now a group of 30 participants are learning to become NLP Master Practitioners. I know they’re going to soon possess a whole new level of skills for their clients.

And it’s so much more than that. Because of the mindset shift that occurs as the life coach learns more about what’s possible, the coach becomes site cialis more useful to the client. Where before they may have seen a challenge with helping the life coaching client, they now see an easy and graceful transformation.

So thanks John and Richard. What you did has changed people’s worlds and their legacy lives on (as do they, by the way!!!)

Life coaches, get NLP. Don’t hesitate and wonder if it’s worth it. I’ve never heard anyone say it didn’ t rock

their world. I’ve never had a participant not wonder how they coached before it. It works, and as life coaches, that’s all we care about when it comes to our clients.
