RS2 – produced solely for the European market between March 1994 and July 1995, the RS2 was an estate car that not only changed people’s ideas of the traditional estate car, but also changed the view of Audi as a company.

A particularly high performance estate, the RS2 was sold with a 2.2 litre turbo engine, 6 speed manual gearbox and was a four wheel drive vehicle. Couple this performance with the space it offered and its pleasing aesthetics and it is not difficult to see why the RS2 was thrown into the spotlight and is now regarded as the car that helped Audi break into the car industry as a leading manufacturer.
