Carrie Underwood Tickets – Carrie Underwood Cleans up at CMT Awards

The 2010 CMT Music Awards were held in Nashville on June 9, and country’s top stars came out for this much-anticipated night of country songs and fun. The most coveted award of the night was Video of the Year, and country sweetheart Carrie Underwood walked away with the award for her “Cowboy Casanova” video. To win the award, Underwood had Levitra to beat out a slew of other top country stars. This award also held extra weight since it was voted on by fans at CMT.com, and Underwood recognized this fact by thanking her fans repeatedly in Kamagra Soft her acceptance speech.

Although she lost out on Female Video of the Year to Miranda Lambert, Underwood also took home the award for CMT Performance of the Year. She was nominated for her performance of “Temporary Home” from Invitation Only. Also nominated in that category were Reba McEntire, Tim McGraw, Lady Antebellum and Brad Paisley. Underwood also shined on the blue carpet in a pink and black Jenny Packham dress with black heels. Underwood changed her outfit when she took the stage to perform her latest hit “Undo It,” which is currently burning up the country charts. The song is from her 2009 album, Play On, which also yielded hits like “Cowboy Casanova” and “Temporary Home.”

Even before the awards, Ms. Underwood stayed busy outside of her hectic touring schedule. On Monday, June 7, she took part in the 20th Annual City of Hope Celebrity Softball Challenge. Also participating were stars like Joe Nichols, Vince Gill, Justin Moore, Jason Aldean, Julianne Hough and many more. The engaged Underwood had a surprise at the game, as her fellow celebrities used the opportunity to hold a surprise bridal shower. According to The Boot, her fiance, hockey star Mike Fisher, was also on hand for the event. During the “shower,” Underwood was given everything from snacks to an apron and a cutting board. Underwood hasn’t yet revealed when her wedding date is, but that hasn’t stopped gossip sites from guessing.

Prior to planning “I dos” with Fisher, Underwood had other high-profile relationships, like one with Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo. In an interview with USA Weekend, Underwood explained why her relationship with Fisher is the one that made it. She said, “Usually I get annoyed with people after four months, and their jokes aren’t funny anymore, and their ‘isms’ start to bug me. But everything he does is great. I couldn’t have dreamt him up any better.” She has also acknowledged that a relationship on the road is hard, but the two put in the effort to make it work. Underwood keeps her fan base loyal by booking many popular tour dates, and fans can find Carrie Underwood tickets online.

A day after her softball game, Underwood was at Nashville’s Municipal Auditorium for a performance at the Grand Ole Opry on June 8. Also performing that night were Trisha Yearwood and Josh Turner. The Opry is being held at various locations around Nashville because the Grand Ole Opry House was damaged in the Nashville floods and is currently under repair. Underwood has been a member of the Opry since 2008.
