CMA Music Festival Tickets – CMA Music Fest Brings Top Acts to Nashville

The 2010 CMA Music Festival won’t take place until mid-June, but the biggest country extravaganza in Nashville is already causing a stir on the music scene. Several top names in the industry have been announced as headliners for this year’s blowout, and June 10-13 is certain to bring the heat to Nashville’s LP Field, as fans flock to the massive venue for four days of live performances.

CMA Music Festival tickets are already going fast for this summer in Nashville, and they’ll only continue to sell as more names are added to the lineup. The first batch of performers at this summer’s festival was announced last month, and headliners include Tim McGraw, Jason Aldean, Alan Jackson, Billy Currington, Levitra Rascal Flatts, Zac Brown Band, Keith Urban, Carrie Underwood, Brad Paisley, Reba McEntire, Kellie Pickler, Darius Rucker, Lady Antebellum and Martina McBride.

As if this wasn’t enough excitement to pack into four days, the CMA Music Festival announced in early April a slew of artists to join those previously mentioned. The second round of country talent to commit to this summer’s extravaganza in Nashville includes Trace Adkins, Blake Shelton, Easton Corbin, Randy Houser, Justin Moore, Josh Turner and Danny Gokey.

All artists who take the stage at LP Field and the Riverfront at the CMA Music Fest every year do so for free, as the four-day festival donates proceeds to the Keep the Music Playing program, which feeds into the Nashville Public School system to support music education. Last year alone, the CMA Music Festival raised more than $1 million for the Keep the Music Playing organization, and this year’s bevy of country heavyweights all but promises even bigger numbers. To date it has raised $3.3 million for Keep the Music Playing, which has in turn funded the purchases of more than 2,500 instruments for underprivileged Nashville youth.

The Festival has illuminated the streets of downtown Nashville for decades, starting with the inaugural concert series in 1972. Originally called Fan Fair, the festival roped in thousands of country music lovers to Nashville from around the country, growing with each passing year. In 2009, the CMA Music Fest hit an all-time high, attracting more than 56,000 concertgoers to LP Field and the Riverfront for the four-day excitement of country music action. Tadacip

This year, the Festival has attracted perhaps even better entertainment than last, and it’s especially going to be a blowout because this year marks Tim McGraw’s return to the CMA stage, where he’ll play for the first time since 2001. Newcomers like Easton Corbin and Danny Gokey are sure to pull in concertgoers like crazy, as well, and tickets online are hot commodities on the music front this spring, still several months before the show is set to invade the Nashville music scene. More performers could be announced over the next couple months, as well, signifying the spectacle that is the CMA Music Festival.
