Family Fun in San Francisco

One of the first places you will want to visit is Fisherman’s Wharf. It is also probably one of the most popular spots in San Francisco.

Fisherman’s Wharf is a great adventure as you stroll along the beautiful waterfront of the Golden City. One thing your kids are sure to love is seeing the sea lions basking in the sun on Pier 39.

Hundreds of sea lions have taken over this pier and are a site to see! Along Fisherman’s Wharf you will also find some shops and delicious restaurants.

If you are looking for fresh seafood, this is the place to go! Your kids will also enjoy seeing the many street performers and musicians who perform daily on the pier.

A few other great attractions at Fisherman’s Wharf are the Aquarium of the Bay, which features over 20,000 aquatic animals; Ghirardelli Square, which serves up chocolate samples Brand Cialis and delicious ice cream; Ripley’s Believe It or Not! Museum, a place where you and your family will see many interesting and unbelievable illusions; and The Wax Museum at Fisherman’s Wharf, this museum features more than 250 life-like characters. Your family will most definitely run into some wax celebrities you love! After Fisherman’s Wharf, take the family over to the colorful Chinatown neighborhood.

Chinatown San Francisco is the largest Chinatown outside of Asia. Here you will find many shops and places to eat full of Asian culture.

This is also a really fun spot to buy affordable souvenirs. Your children will love the little toy shops.

Another attraction you do not want to miss is of course, the Golden Gate Bridge! You can’t go to San Francisco without seeing it.

Take your family on a walk, a bike ride or across this iconic bridge. When you’re done, why not head over to the Golden Gate Park?

This large park is a great place to take a break and it offers activities the whole family will enjoy. In this huge park you will find a flower conservatory, a lake where you can rent boats, an art museum, an arboretum full of beautiful plants, a Japanese Tea Garden, children’s playgrounds, and plenty of space for all your favorite outdoor activities.

Another fun attraction for your family is the San Francisco zoo. This zoo is home to more than 250 species of exotic and domestic animals.

If you’re looking for a few ways to quickly see the city then you might want to try a Segway tour. Each member in your family will be able to ride on a Segway scooter as your tour the city.

If you prefer to sit, you could always take a tour in a fire engine. The San Francisco Fire Engine Tours depart each day at the Cannery (a shopping center) and gives guests a tour of the city.

The tour takes place in an old 1955 fire engine. Another great way to see the city is to go on a trolley car ride.

San Francisco is famous for its trolley cars, which still run through the city today. For those who love the beach, Ocean Beach is one of the most popular.

This beach is a fun place to take a walk, fly some kites or simply enjoy a view of the ocean. However, swimming is not recommended due to the cold water and fierce waves.

Lastly, San Francisco has many museums your family will enjoy. The Walt Disney Family Museum is dedicated to the life and legacy of Walt Disney.

The Bay Area Discovery Museum is a one-of-a-kind family museum with indoor and outdoor exhibits. The Cable Car Museum is another fun museum; it features many old cable cars.
