Green Day Tickets – Rocking London and a New Video Game

In their long, storied history in the music industry, Green Day has always kept fans pleased. Their recent concert at the Wembley Stadium in London was certainly no exception. The Independent noted in the first line of its review, “Only Green Day, 21 years into their career and about to play what they themselves describe as the biggest gig of their lives, would dare to have their set introduced by a man in a giant pink bunny Levitra Professional suit.” But this type of silly cynicism should come as no surprise for devoted Green Day followers.

Longtime fans were treated to an evening full of classics like “Longview,” “Basketcase” and “Welcome to Paradise.” Frontman Billie Joe Armstrong even declared on stage that “the old songs are better anyway.” The younger crowd, however, was likely pleased with renditions of hits from albums including American Idiot and 21st Century Breakdown. It was perhaps an evening meant for fans of all ages. Join in the punk rock festivities by going online and purchasing your own pair of Green Day tickets as soon as possible.

In other Green Day news, the band is also featured on the popular video game Rock Band, where fans can actually pretend that they are as good as the legendary punk rockers. Players can follow the group throughout their career and 47 tracks are featured on the game, including some of their most well-known like “Holiday,” “Wake Me Up When September Ends” and “Know Your Enemy.” It’s not quite the same as a live concert, but with this one you take charge of the microphone!

Green Brand Viagra Day made their official appearance on the music scene with their widely praised major-label debut Dookie, which dropped in 1994. The entire album soon became a favorite among fans, spinning off several singles including “Longview,” “Basketcase” and “When I Come Around.” Green Day’s sudden relevance in the industry was verified at the 1994 Grammy Awards, when they took home the honor for Best Alternative Music Performance.

Riding off of the success of their debut, Green Day quickly issued Insomniac the following year and scored another number one on the charts with the single “J.A.R.” They continued climbing their way up in the industry with follow-up albums including Nimrod and Warning. It turns out that fans would have to wait four years between records after they issued the latter album. But for many, it was worth the wait.

American Idiot, a forceful rock opera, took both fans and critics by surprise and topped music charts internationally. Tracks included “American Idiot,” “Holiday,” “Boulevard of Broken Dreams” and “Wake Me up When September Ends.” American Idiot breathed new life into the band and they were energized for the release of their next studio album, their eighth, called 21st Century Breakdown.

In fact, their success in the industry even allowed them recognition on the Broadway stage, with the release of “American Idiot,” the musical. Don’t miss seeing the boys perform live on stage when they next come to a city near you.
