4. Fragrance oils. If you want to have natural scent, you can use beeswax and bayberry as they have their own natural aroma. Since beeswax is obtained from beehives, it is only natural that it smells of honey. For bayberry wax, it too has sweet smell. But if you are using paraffin wax, then you can choose from among the several oils for your home-based business floating flower candles. The oils can be used even when you use the beeswax or bayberry wax.

7. Container. You will need a container to hold the mold. Any can or tall glass would do.

8. Melting pot. Besides the materials, you will also need a melting pot to melt your wax.

9. Stove. The common heating medium used in melting wax is an electric stove. But you can also use LPG if you have a gas stove, charcoal or firewood.
