Kid Rock Tickets – Kid Rock Part of Record CMA Festival

Mid-June marked one of the most highly-anticipated events in all of country music: the CMA Music Festival. The CMA Music Festival took place in the country music capital of the world, Nashville, Tenn., June 10-13. Other years were popular, but this year set records. The daily attendance was nearly 10,000 more than the same festival in 2010, averaging at 65,000. The CMA Music Festival has been entertaining country fans prescription cialis online since 1972, when it was called Fan Fair.

One of the biggest reasons for the success was the draw of the performers at LP Field. Nightly attendance at the LP Field concerts reached 49,000. So what does this have to do with Kid Rock? Well, it seems as though the Detroit rocker has been in touch with what Blake Shelton would call his “Hillbilly Bone.” Kid Rock was one of the later additions to the festival, and he took the stage at LP Field on June 11. Other country stars to play LP Field include Trace Adkins, Alan Jackson, Miranda Lambert, Tim McGraw, Reba McEntire, Brad Paisley, Rascal Flatts and many more.

The CMA Music Festival appearance wasn’t Kid Rock’s only time in the country spotlight in recent months. Just days before the CMA Music Festival, Kid Rock hosted the 2010 CMT Music Awards on June 9 in Nashville. Kid Rock brought his signature rebel style to the awards show, and his antics contributed to the festive atmosphere of the night. Kid Rock himself even recognized the uniqueness of the CMT Music Awards compared to more Kamagra Gold stuffy awards like the Grammys. He told CMT, “The CMT Awards are fun. They’re loose. I get to see all my buddies in Nashville and around the country and just hang out and rub shoulders. Just have a good time and catch up, talk about music and family and life. All those great things are always fun.”

In another interview with CMT, Kid Rock also insisted he has no plans to ever make a country album, although he would consider a compilation album. Rock has had success in the country scene in years past. In 2002, he recorded “Picture” with Sheryl Crow, which did well both on the country and mainstream charts. He had even more success with his 2008 single “All Summer Long,” which was a Top Five release on the country charts.

Kid Rock has never been one to limit his collaborations. Perhaps one of his oddest will be on the upcoming song “Care.” According to CMT, the song will feature both country crooner Martina McBride and Atlanta rapper T.I. The song, along with several other collaborations, is expected to be heard on Kid Rock’s upcoming new album, Born Free, which is due out in September. Leading up to his album, Kid Rock has many tour dates lined up. Along with a slew of solo dates, he will also be playing select dates in July with rock icons Bon Jovi, hitting spots like Chicago, Toronto and Foxboro, Mass.
