Singer Sarah McLachlan (who will headline the 2010 edition) founded the female-powered festival with Terry McBride, who told MTV News when the return of the Fair was announced in early 2010, “The 2010 Lilith Tour isn’t just a celebration of women but a celebration of diverse female Cialis Jelly voices across all genres. The original Lilith Fair broke down boundaries, and the new tour promises to do the same, with a mix of contemporary and classic, established and up-and-coming artists from the worlds of pop, rock, urban country and more.”

The touring festival was held annually from 1997 to 1999 and featured artists like Christina Aguilera, the Dixie Chicks, Bonnie Raitt, Tegan and Sara, Nelly Furtado, Jewel, Lauryn Hill, Sinead O’Connor, Mya, Dido, Tracy Chapman and more. The lineup will be just as eclectic this time around, when the Fair returns starting with a June 27th date in Calgary, Alberta. On April 12 Rolling Stone revealed that Rihanna will appear at a lone Lilith Fair gig-in Salt Lake City, Utah on July 12-while on her upcoming headlining tour.

Although additional artists will be announced as Lilith Fair 2010 nears, some of the artists on the lineup (which changes nightly) include A Fine Frenzy, Sara Bareilles, Heart, Brandi Carlile, Jill Scott, Norah Jones, La Silagra Roux, Ingrid Michaelson, Sheryl Crow, Vita Chambers, Sugarland, Cat Power, Hannah Georgas, The Weepies, Court Yard Hounds, Marina & the Diamonds, Zee Avi, Lights, Lissie, Frazey Ford, Meaghan Smith, Jenni Rivera, Priscilla Renea and more.
