Australia Zoo on the Sunshine Coast…A Must Do!!

Planning a visit to the Sunshine Coast in the near future? Australia Kamagra Soft Zoo is a short drive from Mooloolaba or we took advantage of the local Sunbus service which services the zoo at Beerwah with regular drop off and pick up times to and from Mooloolaba through out the day.

We were impressed with the cleanliness of Australia Zoo and the well thought out layout of the grounds and the enclosures along with the friendliness of all the staff. They were very welcoming and seemed passionate about animals and their job at the zoo. Their enthusiasm was contagious.

The place is huge with so much to see and do it was hard to decide where to start first. As it was elephant feeding time we started there. It was truly amazing to be able to hand feed these amazing creatures, something we hadn’t done since holidaying in Thailand. A highlight for our 2 young children.

Throughout the day there were wildlife shows that were educational and involved a wide array of animals not just Australian. The Crocoseum is an ideal setting for the shows with plenty of seating for all. We watched the bird show, snakes and of course the croc show. We weren’t disappointed and were entertained as well as educated about these amazing animals and our ability to co-habitat with them.

Our young children just loved the zoo and the opportunities they had through the day to get up and pat some of the animals. The farm animals were a favourite with the pigs, goats and lambs enjoying the attention they received. The pony rides were also a hit but hand feeding of the kangaroos was however the absolute highlight with us revisiting this enclosure throughout the day. These tame animals were very placid and seemed to enjoy being force fed and cuddled by wildlife loving girls.

Through out the day we saw a wide range of Australian animals, echidnas, wombats, snakes, beautiful birds, crocodiles, Tasmanian Devils, dingos, koalas, lizards as well as elephants, tigers, alligators, tortoises, giraffe, iguanas, lemurs and rhinoceros…a truly wide array of animals.

Thank goodness for the shuttle service that takes you around the zoo, after visiting all those animals we were tired and appreciated the shuttle to take us back ready to board the bus to Mooloolaba.

Returning to Coco Mooloolaba apartments we were exhausted but enjoyed a quick swim to revive us from our fun filled day. As Coco is situated in the middle of Mooloolaba we didn’t have to walk far to choose from a range of restaurants and cafes. We enjoyed dining alfresco with ocean views…stunning as the sun set on another perfect Queensland day.

Returning to Coco Mooloolaba accommodation we enjoyed our 2 bedroom fully self contained apartment with feature stylish interiors with European appliances. Coco Mooloolaba Holiday accommodation apartments are stylish and modern with generous balconies No prescription cialis and open plan living areas. Great for a family getaway and only a short walk to the patrolled Mooloolaba beach…that’s tomorrow’s plan.
