Aventura Tickets – You’ll Never See ‘The Last’ of Them

It seems like they’ve got all the right stuff – each of Aventura’s members are veterans in the music business, they hold great chemistry and tune their bachata just right – but there is one pertinent thing that is missing from this popular Latin group – they aren’t actually from Latin America. Rather, Anthony Santos, Lenny Santos, Max Santos and Henry Santos Jeter hail from the nitty-gritty side of New York City (aka the Bronx) and have made a name for themselves by pushing all the boundaries. Taking Dominican bachata to the mainstream, this quartet continues to sell Aventura tickets online in support of their world tour.

They might not be a household name just yet, but after selling out four shows at New York’s Madison Square Garden, it won’t be long before they are. To add more praise to the already affable R&B fusion act, Aventura’s 2009 effort The Last has gone triple-platinum and continues to climb. Yet with all the success that has come today, it isn’t without some serious bruises. Just a decade ago the family was booed off the stage, audiences still incapable of understanding the rough fusion of beats Kamagra Gold that these musicians put together. A mixture of traditional bachata with Dominican and R&B beats, positioned with bongos and guiras, electric guitars and contemporary phrases, today fans scream along to every rhythmic movement.

The support comes in the form of Premium Latin Music’s The Last, the top-selling 2010 album, with dates through the summer. Following the world tour the group plans to release solo albums – something fans are sure to appreciate just as much as they have all eight Aventura albums. “I believe that if each one of us has successful solo careers, it can only help the group’s growth,” Romeo, the lead singer, says to Billboard. “It will allow the fans to see individual talent and make them appreciate us more. After all, we are in this for the long run and have every intention of returning with another album as Aventura.” Unlike the Jonas Brothers fans, there will be little rumor of Splitsville, as Aventura has long established their dedication to the group and their indie record label Premium Latin Music.

Though they’ve got the looks and attitude of the Backstreet Boys, Aventura has talent to back up their character. Singing most everything in Spanish, it was only a matter of time before Aventura found mainstream success. In the decade since they first started, it isn’t that they’ve seen a lack of fans or underground hits, it’s just that commercial audiences have been less resilient to their unique take on bachata. All that changed with The Last, the first mainstream album, though Aventura continues to work with the family run label Premium Latin Music and hasn’t changed much from their sound; the real difference is that mainstream fans and critics were finally ready for something extreme. Now touring the world in support of The Last, Aventura fans from all over the world will continue to support these Bronx natives.
