Exotic Cars Make Fun Road Trips

We have a thirteen year old who can identify every exotic sports car from a mile away. “There Kamagra Gold is a Lamborghini Reventon, or a Lamborghini Murcielago or a Lamborghini Gallardo” he will exclaim as we drive along. He knows all Porsche’s, Corvettes down to the year on a several of them. It is pretty impressive for a thirteen year old to have that much knowledge of cars. They also love BMW and as we drive through Southern California they look for the BMW dealers. On a recent trip we found a Buena Park BMW dealer an Orange County BMW dealer and an Irvine, Ca BMW dealer all within two days. Sometimes we stop and let the boys wander around, oohing and aahing. Our thirteen year old carries a camera on him at all times and is not opposed to taking pictures of beautiful cars as they cruise by or in the dealerships. We even found a Lamborghini at a church we attended he didn’t miss the opportunity to take pictures from all angles.

The boys love car shows and will wander around looking at the insides and outsides of sports cars for hours. I am good for about one hour but not them, they never seem to tire of flashy cars. The funny thing is that my husband is a truck guy and the boys are all sports car guys. They love his big, fancy truck but I think when they get some money they will all be driving sports cars. What is it about boys and speed? They love to look at the speedometers and see how fast the cars can go. The Lamborghini we saw had a speedometer that went up to 210, pretty impressive. We all need to go to Germany and cruise the Autobahn, I would love to cruise to work at 110 miles an hour. I don’t know if my Corolla would survive the Autobahn though.

Checking out all the cars as we cruise along certainly makes road trips more interesting and faster. We recently drove from Los Vegas to Los Angeles, going the other direction was a steady stream of Lamborghini, and Ferrari’s, I don’t know where there were all going to, but it certainly made for an interesting hour of our drive watching them go by. There must have been close to 50 at least. It would have been one terrific car show. Where would the roads be if we didn’t have a Lamborghini, Ferrari, Porsche, Corvette or Maserati to keep us entertained?
