Preparing the Teeth for Halloween

The pursuit of a beautiful smile is very common today. A beautiful smile impacts your ability to get a job, make friends, and your success in a variety of other objectives.

However, the cheapest means of obtaining a beautiful smile is usually through braces. Braces are seen as a dorky and nerdy appliance, but necessary for most pre-teens and teenagers.

They are also a great addition to many Halloween costumes. Of course, real braces are no really affordable for one night.

In addition, they are difficult to put on and take off. Temporary real braces can also be fairly painful.

Fake braces are easy to make and they are easily applied and taken off. If they are made correctly they will even look like real braces from a distance.

They are also much less expensive and much less painful. To make homemade braces you will need needle-nose pliers, silver craft wire, aluminum foil or silver duct tape, sand paper, and super glue.

First, you will need to cut two pieces of the craft wire long enough to around the front of the teeth with an additional inch on both sides of the teeth.

Then, you will need to use the aluminum foil or silver duct tape to make eight small square-shaped boxes that are about 1/4 inch by 1/4 inch in size. These are the brackets for the braces so try to make them the right size for your child’s size and intended Halloween look.

Thirdly, use the super glue to attach the brackets to the wire. You will probably need your child present as you will need to space them according to how the teeth are spaced.

There should be a brace on each of the eight front teeth. Next, you will need to set the project aside to make sure that glue dries completely.

When the glue is completely dry, you will need to use the sand paper to sand the ends of the wire. This will prevent the wire from sticking into your gums and a very painful Halloween night.

Then, you will need to center the braces on the teeth No prescription cialis and wrap the ends of the wire around the back teeth. This will make sure that the braces stay on.

This step will be repeated for the bottom set of braces as well. With the completion of this step you will be ready for your Halloween night.

Other people want to incorporate several missing teeth into their costume. This is a very easy, but completely altering change.

First, you will want to make sure the tooth you want to be gone is completely dry. Use a towel or washcloth to wipe it off and let it finish air drying for a few minutes.

Then, use an eyebrow pencil to darken the tooth. This will last for a while, but it will probably rub off eventually throughout the Halloween night.

Keep the eyebrow pencil with you so that you can reapply the blackened tooth. If you are willing to put a little investment into it, look into purchasing a tooth black set at a costume store or Halloween store.

These tooth black sets are fairly affordable and will last much longer than an eyebrow pencil. In addition to properly preparing the costume for the teeth, it is important to properly prepare the teeth for this night.

One of the most devastating times of the year for tooth health surrounds Halloween. There is more candy consumed during this time of the year than at any other time.

Children should be prepared for this season by a trip to dentist. Make sure the dentist puts sealants on the teeth of your children to properly protect them from the devastating cavities.

Sticky candies are the worst kind of candy for the teeth. Taffy, gummy bears, caramel and so forth should be avoided if possible.

This kind of candy sticks to the teeth and is more difficult to get to come off. The teeth should be brushed after eating candy, but especially after eating sticky candies.

You may consider offering to trade the sticky candy with a gum that has a Zylitol sweetener. Zylitol has been shown to prevent tooth decay which can enhance the lifetime of your child’s teeth tremendously.

By taking these precautions, your child will not have to fear damage to the teeth and they will be able to have a fun and enjoyable time trick or treating. Halloween is a very fun tradition.
