Staying At A Lodge

Have you ever debated over whether to stay in a huge fancy hotel or a humble little bed and breakfast? What are some of the benefits to staying in a smaller place and why would you want to do so?

A bed and breakfast is more commonly referred to as a B&B and is a small lodge where you can stay overnight and receive a nice breakfast in the morning. Usually these places are like big houses with less than ten rooms where you can stay.

They have a fairly large dining area where everyone that is staying there can have breakfast. Sometimes the B&B has a cook that comes in the early morning to make food for everyone and serve it to them.

The dining room is very comfortable and cozy and is designed in a way to make you feel at home. It provides a more intimate environment where guests can talk and get to know each other if they want to.

It is very quiet because there is not a huge volume of people there and you do not often find whole families staying at a place like this. You will usually find tourists from other countries that are there trying to get away for a romantic vacation.

Within each room, there is a private bathroom. Depending on where you stay, there could be a communal bathroom which is shared other guests.

Extra rooms or guest houses are typically rented out for vacationers to serve as a second income for the family. Typically the owners of the house are the ones who clean the rooms and serve breakfast but you may find some places that hire a professional staff for those chores.

Technically, when the owners hire employees, it is not considered a B&B. It is then considered to be more of an inn, motel, or hotel.

Hotels are very different and have created a dissimilar atmosphere than a B&B. The most obvious thing is that they can room a lot more people.

Think of the city of Las Vegas where you drive down the strip and see a ton of skyscrapers lining the horizon. Not only are there a lot of different hotels, but each one can room thousands of people.

When you check into a hotel there, it is not unusual to take the elevator up to the seventy-fifth floor where your room is located. There are a couple of main lobbies where you have to check in and sometimes you wait for a half hour before you get to the front of the line.

These places are packed with people and have a very busy, loud environment with many different kinds of families. Some bring their children to stay with them and others go there to have loud parties.

There are not any chances to get to know those staying there with you because there are just so many people. Plus, the kind of people who are staying there have plans and are usually on strict schedules to go see a show or go out to dinner and do not have time to chit chat.

So before you book a room overnight somewhere, think about what kind of an experience you want to have. Whether it is a quiet, romantic vacation or a loud and active vacation with your kids.

Because of the quiet atmosphere that a B&B provides, it may cost a little more. Especially if you are staying in a high tourist area where a lot of people like to visit.

For example, if you were to stay at a place near the beach, then it is going to be pretty expensive because of the great view of the ocean. But if you go inland a little bit more, you can probably find something that is a little cheaper.

Whatever you decide to do, think about what your family and More especially your spouse Brand Cialis will enjoy more. And also think about which place will help you to relax and enjoy your vacation to the fullest.
