The Dixie area of Utah is definitely the fall and spring get-a-way destination for all of us living up north. We love to swim, climb the rocks, boat at Sand Hollow, golf a little, play at the sand dunes, our boys catch lizards, hike, bike, walk, skateboard, explore, play tennis and just take a break from the stress and cares of life. The weather is always a great deal warmer and we get to escape the congestion of the city to visit the beautiful red rock area.

I often wonder what all the locals do for a living to get to live in such a beautiful place year around. There doesn’t seem to be a lot of businesses, no technology centers and certainly no industry. There must be a plethora of attorneys, doctors and engineers in the area. St. George attorneys must do a lot of wills and estate planning. The population is certainly aging with it being one of the fastest growing retirement towns in the country. The geriatric doctors must make a bundle.

Our children have grown to love the Southern Utah area, it represents leisure and activity and lots of family time. I don’t know why we can’t live that lifestyle in our daily life? We should make as much time to play and be active at home as we do on vacation. I guess weather, time, schedules, school, house, meals, cleaning, lessons, sports take up too much of our time. I wonder if the St. George attorneys and doctors appreciate the life of leisure they can live or are they just caught up in their day to day living and are oblivious to the incredible world around them.

Beautiful clean air, cialis cheap green grass, flowers in bloom, hiking, walking and golf only minutes away and waiting for us to join them. When the skies are gray here in Salt Lake and the skies are blue down south, we dust off our bikes, dig out our shorts and bathing suits and beeline it down to Dixie where the rocks are red, the skies sunny, the pools warm, the sand cool, the caves fun to explore, and the stress and business of life only a distant memory.
