Tracy Morgan Tickets – Tracy Morgan Keeps Us Laughing

Whether watching his hit series 30 Rock, old re-runs from his days on Saturday Night Live, blockbusters like his latest movie Death at a Funeral or seeing him perform standup comedy live, Tracy Morgan keeps us all laughing. The New York native joined the cast of SNL back in 1996 and soon became a standout on the weekly show due to his colorful cast of characters, like Brian Fellow’s Safari Planet, Astronaut Jones, Bronx resident Dominican Lou, Good Morning With Liza! Sidekick Captain Munclair Vanderhousen III, Uncle Jemima’s Mash Liquor and Judge Judy bailiff Bert (to name a few).

After seven successful seasons on SNL, Morgan starred in his own comedy series, The Tracy Morgan Show, and as the voice of Spoonie Luv on Crank Yankers before reuniting with SNL co-star Tina Fey for NBC’s 30 Rock. Tracy Morgan plays Tracy Jordan (and they share more similarities than just a first name!) on the two-time Emmy Award-winning show. Loosely based on the backstage antics at SNL, 30 Rock sees Fey’s character Liz Lemon trying to reign in actor Tracy Jordan both on set and off. Saturday Night Live welcomed Morgan back as host for the first time in 2009, the same year that he and the rest of the cast of 30 Rock took home a Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series.

Tracy Morgan has appeared on the big screen in flicks like The Longest Yard and Half Baked and is currently starring in Death at a Funeral. The Cialis movie is a remake of the 2007 (yes, 2007) film Death at a Funeral, directed by Frank Oz, which follows a chain of horrific yet hilarious events that ensue after the wrong body is delivered at a proper funeral in England. The 2010 version, directed by Neil LaBute, swaps London for Los Angeles and sees the family and friends of a black middle-class patriarch come together to pay their last respects. When asked if he watched the original Death at a Funeral, Morgan told the New York Post, “Absolutely. I watched the first one when it came out, and I thought that it was incredible that we got to do our version of it. It’s basically the same movie. It’s just that we’re black, and they’re British.”

In Death at a Funeral, Morgan plays Norman, a family friend and hypochondriac, alongside Chris Rock (as Aaron, the older of the two sons of the deceased), Martin Lawrence (as Aaron’s brother Ryan, who writes successful trashy novels), Keith David (who plays the preacher, Reverend Davis), Danny Glover (who plays Uncle Russell) and Loretta Devine (the deceased’s widow). In the film, Morgan’s character helps wheelchair-bound Uncle Russell into a bathroom for a scene that drew tons of laughs in the previews, according to the New York Times. The film also features Luke Wilson, Zoe Saldana, James Marsden, Peter Dinklage and Regina Hall.

Despite his television and film roles, Tracy Morgan continues to perform standup. Fans with Tracy Morgan tickets can enjoy his one-liners and hilarious impressions live. Morgan has dates lined up in cities like Reno, Nev.; Long Beach, Calif.; Boston, Mass.; Atlantic City, N.J. and more, so get Tracy Morgan tickets online today.
