United States

More than 168 million U.S. Internet users watched online video during the month of September in 2009. Online video viewing continued to reach Kamagra Soft record levels in September with nearly 26 billion videos viewed during the month.That 168 million represents almost eighty-five percent of the U.S.Internet audience.You Tube is by far the biggest draw for video watching drawing 125.5 million viewers who watched an average of 892.4 videos each.

United Kingdom

The ComScore Video Matrix service reported that the total number of videos viewed online in the U.K. in April 2009 grew 47 percent versus year ago to 4.7 billion videos. The report also found that 21.8 million U.K. Internet users viewed a total of 971 million online display ads on multimedia sites during the month based on data from comScore Ad Matrix a recently introduced service in the U.K. providing competitive intelligence on online display advertising. Ninety-nine percent of all videos were watched on You Tube

France

ComScore Video Matrix service reported that 27.1 million French Internet users viewed a video online in January 2009 up 16 percent versus the previous year. Based on a three-month average ending January 2009 3.9 million mobile phone subscribers of which 39 percent were younger than 25 years of age used their phone to watch any kind of TV or video in France.

Germany

Comscore Video Matrix reported that 35.7 million German Internet users viewed at least one video online in August 2009 up 38 percent versus the previous year. Levitra 99.5% of all videos are watched on You Tube. The heaviest viewers of online video are males between the ages of 15-24 who watched approximately 24 hours of online video per person in August. Females over 55 on average watched 105 videos on YouTube.com in Germany compared with males over 55 who watched 75 videos on YouTube.com during the month.

Canada

Reporting for the month of February 2009 ComScore Video Matrix showed that 21 million Canadians viewed more than 3.1 billion videos online during the month. The average Canadian online video viewer spent 10 hours viewing videos in February up 53 percent from their average viewing time last year.The average online video viewer in Canada watched 605 minutes of video in the month. The largest amount of time of the five countries reported by comScore Video Matrix U.K. 540 minutes,Germany 466 minutes, France 390 minutes, U.S. 312 minutes.

The message that video online is a huge and growing phenomenon is clear. The second message, however, seems to be that people are not watching videos on individual websites, they are watching videos on You Tube. The question is, are you using You Tube to your best advantage?
