Austin City Limits Festival Tickets – 2010 ACL Schedule Released

Ever since the lineup for the 2010 Austin City Limits Festival was announced in May, music fans have been waiting for the schedule to be Cialis revealed so they can meticulously map out their three days at Austin’s Zilker Park in October. Well, festival-goers, the time has come. Festival organizers unveiled the schedule for the Oct. 8-10 event on July 14. Two Tons of Steel will kick off the music festival at 11:15 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 8 and the Eagles will close down the show with a set slated to wrap at 10:00 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 10.

The first day of Austin City Limits will feature performance by Blues Traveler, the Soft Pack, the Black Keys, Beach House, Spoon, Vampire Weekend, Sonic Youth, Robert Randolph & the Family Band and more. Miike Snow, Girls and Broken Bells will all be making their ACL debut this year. Day One ACL headliners the Strokes and Phish may cause a problem for festival attendees, as the Strokes will be playing at the AMD stage from 8:00 p.m. until 9:30 p.m. while Phish kicks off their set at 8:00 p.m. on the Budweiser stage and are set to cap their set at 10:00 p.m. Luckily for fans, festival organizers launched their 2010 Custom Scheduler app so fans can sort out who plays when and on which stage before getting to Zilker Park.

Fans in attendance at Day Two of Austin City Limits 2010 will see artists and bands like Lissie, the Gaslight Anthem, Black Lips, Local Natives, Pat Green, Silversun Pickups, the Temper Trap (ACL debut), Monsters of Folk, Gogol Bordello, Matt and Kim, Deadmau5 and LCD Soundsystem perform. Once again, the night’s headliners MIA and Muse will overlap set times, with MIA taking the AMD stage at 8:30 and Muse doing so over at the Budweiser stage at the same time.

The third and final day of Austin City Limits will see acts like White Rabbits, Ted Leo and the Pharmacists, Devendra Banhart, the Morning Benders, Yeasayer, Robert Earl Keen, Rebelution, Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros, Flaming Lips, Band of Horses, the National, Norah Jones, Cage the Elephant, Richard Thompson and more performing. Coming off their joint spring tour with the Dixie Chicks and Keith Urban, the Eagles will close down this year’s edition of Austin City Limits with a two-hour show on the Budweiser Stage beginning at 8:00 p.m. Fans can get three-day or single passes for ACL online.

The first ACL was held in the musical capital of the world (yep, Austin holds the title for those that didn’t know) in 2002, and since then ACL has been bringing nationally touring acts and local favorites alike to the stage each fall.

Last year’s festival featured headliners Dave Matthews Band, Kings of Leon, Pearl Jam and Ben Harper and the Relentless7 as well as performances by John Legend, Thievery Corporation, John Legend, the Dead Weather, Citizen Cope, Phoenix, Them Crooked Vultures, Ghostland Observatory, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Arctic Monkeys and more.
