In relationships listening can be argued as the most important factor to success. Trust is compared but is really dependent on the act of listening. If one does not listen to another, one will never be trusted, for one will never understand a person enough for them to trust. Listening is a selfless act, it is when people give themselves completely to hearing, interpreting and understanding, caring, about what another person has to say.
