Footprints on the Heart

A footprint is an \’original\’ autograph we bestow. Each footprint left is a stamp of one step on a journey. When the waves come and wash over our footprint, it hasn\’t been erased, just absorbed by the earth and water to be disseminated all over the cosmos. Everything we do affects not only us but also everyone we come into contact with.

Ponder this. We leave footprints on people\’s hearts and every person that comes into our life leaves us with footprints on our heart. They remain as a reminder of why we encountered each other, even if only briefly.

It\’s impossible to comprehend how to be loving to our self or others, without first acknowledging oneself and be attentive to ones interests and responsibilities as co-creator of our life.

When we are alone, we can be our self. When among other mortals, we are apt to be bowed by their inkling for us to be this or that. Aspiring to oblige, we may be guided by their inclinations instead of doing what we think is fitting. A hefty bounty is paid whenever we do so, for we can easily become attendants to the whims of others instead of the master of our destiny. The ultimate wizardry is to collar that solitary independence rooted when we are alone and implement it when among humankind.

Stay true to yourself. It\’s easy to get entangled in other people\’s conjectures about life and to second-guess your own guileless feedback, but once you unearth and trust your instincts, you\’ll find that you\’re routed to the appropriate thoroughfare more often than not.

Friends come and go, loved ones die, jobs shift, children leave home. The only person you can count on to go the distance is you! Studies have shown that those who are independent and self-reliant typically survive and function better in society than those who are dependent on others for happiness and sustainability.

Nothing in this world has a rubber stamp on it. Things change rapidly. Stock markets rise and they may even crash; we may have a job today and yet be unemployed tomorrow. It stands to reason that the more self reliant skills we can adopt and utilize the better prepared we are in coursing through life\’s ups and downs. And we are far more likely to sustain a desirable life overall.

Know your true worth and keep your feet on the ground. Do not sneak around, afraid, as if you have no claim to be just who you are. Be unique, not a replica or reprint. As, those grounded in truth and self-acceptance are spiritually indestructible. When we engage in life infused with fathomless honesty, our power shines through, our genius arises, our true goodness has a chance to show itself, and our creativity is set on fire. Woo – Hoo!

We each have a destiny, a part to play in this awesome universe! Not you? Why not you? Many of the people who have changed the course of history also would not have believed that they could or would. But when you rely on yourself and are exactly who you are, a new force and new source of power courses through you.

You have something unique, original, and great to express. Stop and rediscover your own inner wisdom. Start with implementing self-trust and honesty. They reel out our inner knowing which allows new and innovative insights to emerge. And, you just may be surprised at the depth and breadth of your inner wisdom you can share and pass along. Let the inner guru come out and start to speak!

Be exactly who you are right now. Trust yourself and shine from your heart center and your magnetic charm starts to manifest! Keep the focus on who you actually are – right now, because that\’s the most applicable starting point, warts and all. Find the magnificence here, and then let it out. Go for it!

Footprints left on the sand are not made by sitting down. We are all creators. The footprints indented by your trek remind others who you are and why you were there. MAKE EACH STEP COUNT!
