What Nutritionists Say to Avoid While Preparing Food For Overweight People

Obesity and being overweight is a problem that most of the people of the current generation face. Most women are bogged down by the stressful work life and unknowingly at times fall victim to the temptation of junk food and beverages, fast food that are so easily available in the market.

Sometimes inadequate nutrition may also lead to obesity, so one has to concentrate on consumption of nutritious diet.

According to some nutritionist one has to reduce the intake of refined processed carbohydrates as they are a major cause of weight gain in most of the cases, especially diabetics. Nutritionists also feel that in order to maintain the correct weight one needs to avoid eating fatty foods including fatty meat. Also it is advisable to avoid eating butter, ghee, cheese etc. because these are saturated fats and would increase the level of cholesterol in blood, thus causing serious health hazards.

Creamy dressings are also not very healthy & best avoided. When it comes to bread, white bread is not very healthy and should not be consumed on a regular basis. You can replace it with brown bread or whole wheat bread for daily consumption.

High fat dairy products which includes whole milk , condensed milk etc. should also be avoided for good. In case you have a sweet tooth you might have to sacrifice your consumption of cakes, pastries, pies, chocolate, ice creams etc. In nutshell all the good things in life. But this is a sacrifice worth taking for the sheer pleasure of gaining a fit and healthy body in due course of time.

One needs to be alert about the artificial fruit juice which are found either bottled up or canned in a tin. Main reason being most of this so called fruit juices are loaded with carbohydrates and unwanted calories. It is best that you buy fresh fruits from the local market and extract its juice itself. making your own juice at home is a much healthier option.

It is always better that you get in to a habit of home cooking which not only would be cost effective but would save time and would be full of nutrition. Avoid junk food , fried food and oily stuff. Also avoid alcohol consumption at any cost, as continuous intake of alcohol might lead to complications in the later life.

Avoid consuming soft drinks as well no matter how tempted you feel about it. Avoid eating nuts , dough nuts, high fat crackers to stay healthy. Jam , marmalade , mayonnaise also should be avoided because they can be extremely fatty in their composition. Finally its important to keep in mind hat one should never skip meals. Skipping meals would only make the body to accumulate and store fat. Rather one should eat at regular interval and the quantity of the food consumption should be small.

The focus should always be on the nutrition part of the meal, so that the extra fat that has been accumulated can be got rid of easily.
