Freeview HD – Coming to a Town Near You Soon

There is a good possibility that Freeview HD channels will be available soon in the UK. This has a lot of people excited, as they have been waiting a long time for this technology to hit the market. This technology is going to change the way people view their favorite TV programs. The best thing about Freeview HD is that this technology is going to be available free to all within a short period of time. There is a lot of work being done to try and get the whole system functioning as soon as possible, however, the way it looks right now, this technology won’t be completely available in all areas before 2012. In order for you to be able to get Freeview HD you will need to have a DVB-T2 High Definition Freeview receiver with that supports MPEG-4.
