7 Dieting Tips To Help You Lose Weight This Summer

Losing weight can be a difficult process; there’s no doubt about it. Whether you’re living in the city and have joined a gym in London or you’re in the countryside and are starting to do more exercise and labour intensive work, a change in your diet is always recommended to aid with your weight loss.

These 7 points should give you some good tips on how to lose weight over the coming weeks and are all very simple to implement and adhere to.

1. Lower your carbohydrate intake – although they Kamagra may be extremely complicated, our bodies work in a very simple way when looking at how they store fat and simply put, the more carbohydrates you eat, the easier the body stores fat.

A complete withdrawal of carbohydrates from your diet isn’t recommended, but contemplate only having a small amount with each meal. For example, rather than having lots of potatoes and rice and accompanying it with some meat, increase the amount of meat that you have and lower the potato or rice portion.

2. Drink 8 glasses of water a day – water is a great way to cleanse your body and keep you feeling fuller for longer, as well as having a whole host of other benefits. With it recommended that you drink 8 glasses of water each day (roughly equating to 2 litres), you should start to feel the benefits within a matter of days.

3. Eat breakfast – widely regarded as the most important meal of the day, the reason behind this is that it kick starts your metabolism, meaning that the next time you eat food, the less likely it is to be stored as fat.

4. Have regular snacks – for the same reason behind eating breakfast, it’s important that you have regular snacks throughout the day to keep your metabolism going and so that your body knows that it isn’t going to have to wait hours before it next gets something to eat.

If you do tend to wait hours between meals without anything eat, your body kicks in to survival mode and thinks that the next meal it is going to get is going to be the last for several hours, so it stores the food as fat. By eating small and regular meals or snacks you can avoid this completely.

5. Drop the beer and lager – the summer months are the time of year when we tend to eat and drink a lot, as it seems that there is a barbecue going on every weekend.

If you’re partial to a can of lager or beer and don’t want to give alcohol up entirely whilst you’re losing weight, change to a spirit for a few weeks, preferably a clear one such as gin or vodka. Mix it with a diet drink (cola, lemonade or tonic, for example) and you’ll notice you won’t put on as much weight as you did drinking beer or lager.

6. Go for the berries – generally speaking, if a fruit ends in ‘berry’, grows on a bush and you can fit a few in your hand, it’s going to be good for you.

Blueberries, blackberries, strawberries – each and every one is packed full of vitamins and antioxidants, both of which will not only help with weight loss, but will make you feel a lot better.

7. Don’t eat after 10pm – obviously not entirely possible for people who work night shifts, but if you can refrain from eating at least 2 hours before you go to bed, your body will not only digest the food better, but it’s also likely that you’ll do a bit of exercise burning it off – even if it’s doing the dishes or walking up and down the stairs – rather than simply going straight to bed.
