Even if you have never been to the beach before, you probably still dream about being able to live right on the beach or at least take a summer vacation there. Why do so many people yearn to live by the ocean?

When you think about the scene at the beach, you think about several things including; clear blue skies, the bright sun on your skin, a cool breeze, sounds of the waves hitting the shore, and feeling the warm sand under your toes. Almost everyone fantasizes about the being right by the ocean and is thoroughly relaxed by this thought.

Water is associated with creativity and feelings. So when we dream about this or actually experience it, we are enjoying some good natural therapy that it offers to both our body and soul.

If you listen to the sounds that the waves make, then it can alter the wave patterns in your brain and cause you to experience a great calming and relaxing state of mind. Taking time to relax like this every once in a while can help revitalize your mind and your body.
