Infiniti’s G25 Offers An Upscale Driving Experience At A Competitive Price

Infiniti is making it easier than ever to own a luxury car with its G25 model; this trim is easy on the wallet but still offers all of the customary deluxe features usually found on upscale vehicles. Direct competitors of the G25 include the BMW 3 series, IS250 from Lexus and the Mercedes Benz C-class. The G25 is also priced lower than the well known G37; around $4,000 lower to be specific.

The trade off for the lower price comes in the form of horsepower. The G25 has less power than the G37 but it shouldn’t make a significant difference unless you like to drive immensely fast and outrun everyone else on the road. The engine that powers this auto is a 6 cylinder 2.5 Ltr with 218 hp and 187 pound feet of torque. The only transmission choice available is a 7-speed automatic. The intended target market for this automobile are individuals who aren’t performance buffs and don’t need the intense power and speed that the G37 provides.

The G25 allows you to experience an upscale driving experience with the inclusion of features such as aluminum trim in the interior, a power adjustable driver seat with back support, a telescopic and tilt steering wheel, keyless start, seventeen inch wheels constructed out of alloy, comfortable seats crafted out of rich luxurious leather and an automatic climate control system. 7.2 seconds is all it takes for the car to propel from zero to sixty miles. Opt for the Journey trim at an additional cost and you receive a rearview camera, compatibility with USB devices, a climate control system, temperature controlled seats and heated mirrors.

As you would expect from Infiniti, a myriad of safety features have been included in the design of the auto including an advanced air bag system, front seat active head restraints and a 4 wheel anti-lock braking system. The seatbelts feature pretensioners which tighten up for additional protection during impact. A reinforced passenger compartment and front and rear crumple zones are in place to provide additional protection. A tire pressure monitoring system is also in place which lets you know when your tire pressure needs to be corrected for superior and safety. Infiniti’s “Snug Kids” system is also in place which is a guide to assist you select and install a child’s seat.

After further research it appears that this trim was created for female drivers who are supposedly scared of the G37’s power. Personally I don’t buy that at all since I am a woman who loves expensive and fast cars. I think the G25 is a car that would be suited to drivers of either gender, who simply want a luxury car and don’t need the extra horsepower. Personally, I would choose the G37 as I like the thrill and excitement of driving a fast car but the G25 is still an excellent deal. What it offers the consumer is lots of luxury features at a price that is within reach for many. The starting cost for the G25 is around $32k.
