There is one thing that you can be sure of when traveling is that someone is going to overeat. We always enjoy trying the foods of the region, unfortunately, the food of the region does not always agree with us. Try stocking some of these in you travel first aid kit.

– For heartburn and indigestion, an antacid preparation works wonders on small tummies. Alka-Seltzer should only be given to adults.

– Mild laxatives, preferably all-natural for travel constipation

– To prevent dehydration, carry a dioralyte or some pedialyte with electrolytes

Grandma\’s Sure Fire Motion Sickness Cure

As far a travel goes, these items added to your already stocked first aid kit should keep you on the road, however, motion sickness has to be planned for as well. Speak to your doctor or pharmacist for what works best or you can depend on grandma\’s old remedy. It always worked for me as a child. She would have us kids put a piece of newspaper under our shirts against the skin of our chest. It worked like a psychological charm!
