How to Plan Your Anti-Candida Diet in a Step by Step Approach

Basically a good anti-Candida diet program helps you to shift away from consuming foods that cause an imbalance in the environment of your gut to foods that actually nourish and support your body.

As you step out to plan and use an anti-Candida diet program to eliminate your symptoms, you would come across so much information that you would most likely get confused about the actual steps that you should take.

To avoid getting confused by the barrage of information that is available on good anti-yeast diet, you can plan your own diet around the following simple steps:

-Step 1

Eliminate all refined sugars, natural and artificial sweeteners from your diet. You should stop eating foods like white bread, biscuits, cakes, pasta, cookies, crackers, candy bars, soft drinks, sugar in any form, honey, maple syrup, molasses, rice syrup etc.

You should also stop drinking alcoholic drinks like beer, wine, whiskey, gin etc.

-Step 2

Stop consuming bad fats and add moderate amounts of good fats to your diet. Eat fats from fish oil, fresh ground flax, seed oil, krill oil, raw butter, organic egg yolks etc. Most of these fatty foods are rich in omega 3, 6 and 9 fatty acids which strengthen the immune system against diseases.

-Step 3

Remove all foods that contain gluten from your diet. Gluten is found in wheat, barley, rye and in some oats, so, you should not eat white bread, cereals, pasta and all other foods made from food items that contain gluten.

If you want to eat grains, there are several gluten free grains that you can choose from; these include corn, brown rice, tapioca, quinoa, sorghum, chia seed and millet.

-Step 4

Remove sweet fruits from your diet; phase these fruits out of your diet slowly. Fruits like bananas, oranges, mangoes, apples, peas, melons etc contain a lot of sugar which serves the yeast cells with more nutrients.

If you want to eat fruits, limit your consumption of fruits to fruits like berries, cucumbers, bell peppers, papaya and grapefruits.

-Step 5

Stop consuming pasteurized, homogenized diary foods; if you want to consume diary foods consume only raw unpasteurized, non homogenized dairy products like raw goat milk and raw butter.

-Step 6

Eliminate grains from your diet; grains like wheat, buckwheat, oats, rice and whole grains are easily broken down into glucose which is a very good nutrient for Candida growth. Avoid all foods made from wheat like pasta, pizza, and white bread.

-Step 7

Remove high carbohydrate vegetables from your diet

-Step 8

Add probiotic foods to your diet. You can either buy pre-made probiotic foods that are often referred to as raw fermented foods from your local health food stores or you can make your own probiotic foods at home by making use of plain yogurt and milk.

-Step 9

Replace all the poor foods that you have eliminated from your diet with anti-fungal foods which have natural anti-fungal properties. These anti-fungal foods include the following: virgin coconut oil, apple cider vinegar, barberry, cloves, garlic, ginger, goldenseal, oregano oil, Oregon grape fruit and Pau P’arco.

-Step 10

If you are still experiencing Candida symptoms after following these nine steps then you have to remove all cooked legumes, nuts, and seeds from your diet.
