\”Instant Internet Lifestyle\” is the title of a fascinating twenty-dollar product from the established Internet marketing teacher, Lee McIntyre. Anyone who believes they can become an instant success by means of marketing on the Internet is very likely to be deluding themselves although there have been a few instances of it happening. Much more significant, however is the question of whether, given a reasonable amount of time, application, some hard work and the necessary knowledge and motivation, it would be possible for you to start an online business which would actually make a lot of money.

These caveats always remain but, with them in place, the answer is “YES”. Why then do some 97-99% of all who try to set up an online business, actually fail and give up? In reality an online business; in other words a business, which is totally Internet-based, shares many characteristics with any conventional business. Every successful business owner knows that his/her success did not come immediately and in almost all cases, it came only after a longish period of false starts, learning from failure, solid, hard work over long hours and sacrifice of practically everything else in life during the learning period. The relationship is that the product presents some extremely fundamental strategies, which in a number of cases, contradict the earlier conventional wisdoms but which, have now started to be recognised as extremely sound, and successful basics for both existing Internet businesses and for new online enterprises.

Remember we are discussing something that is being offered to the public for a mere twenty dollars; actually slightly less than that. How could such a trivial item be so influential? It would be a great mistake to think of the product itself as being trivial; it is no such thing. Only the price is tiny and that, in itself is one of the basics of McIntyre’s system. He preaches that you must give massive value in every product and he certainly practices what he preaches. In this case, for example, the product consists of the video recordings of a full two day seminar, taught by Lee McIntyre himself to an audience including many, already established and successful business owners as well as some who were new to the world of Internet marketing. By offering value in excess of all expectations you start to build up a valuable relationship with your clients in which they have the opportunity, at little cost, to experience your methods, put them into practice and later to decide whether they are sufficiently impressed to purchase further products the cost of which may be higher but the still with the massive excess of value over price.

In the case of the product we are using as an example, the many, many hours of teaching are used to expound McIntyre’s fundamental principles. Another example of the thinking that has enabled him to take the Internet Marketing world by stormis his insistence that the conventional model of using incentives to encourage potential customers to submit their contact details in order to build up lists of names as the targets for subsequent marketing efforts can be counter-productive. Whilst not wrong in itself this list-building system requires its practitioners to spend large amounts of their own time and and often of their own money. His alternative is to incentivise other marketers (affiliates) to publicise his products in return for rewards that can seem disproportionately large but which, produce so many more total sales that they result, overall in far greater profits for both the product owner and the affiliate.
