The Dubai Businessman Criticizes Media Hype About Property Scams Hyderabad

The man behind the real estate giant Emaar, Dubai businessman criticizes the hype created by the media about the alleged property scams Hyderabad. While the controversy about undervaluation of the land by a government agency, Andhra Pradesh Industrial Infrastructure Corporation or APIIC may be entirely untrue, the role of the real estate giant, Emaar, in the alleged property scams Hyderabad seems to be all the more further from the truth. The ongoing investigations into the alleged irregularities have revealed nothing that shows any role of the company in the entire controversy. In this light, Emaar has made clear its stance on the entire affair by declaring that it is open to cooperation with investigation agencies to clear its name from the scam and move forward with its business in the Indian market. Leaving the allegations behind, Emaar, along with its local partner MGF, is moving ahead to undertake and complete their other projects spread across India and clearly shows that Emaar MGF has grand plans in India and that the joint venture will not be deterred by such non-existent controversies.

Emaar is a reputed real estate company based in the Emirate of Dubai, one of the seven Emirates which collectively form the United Arab Emirates or UAE. After being conceptualized as a construction company in the year 1997, Emaar has since then diversified to include hospitality, hotels, malls, retail and technology under its purview. Under its Entertainment arm, Emaar has successfully created the world’s finest entertainment avenues including the famed Dubai Aquarium & Underwater Zoo, Dubai Ice Rink, Reel Cinemas and SEGA Republic. The Dubai Mall is an outstanding work of Emaar, being recognized as the largest shopping mall in the emirate and hosts the annual Dubai shopping festival. Apart from these, Emaar has also interests in hospitality industry, primarily limited to Dubai, where it constructed and now manages multiple luxury hotels and have plans to launch its operations in hospitality and entertainment in regions outside of Dubai.

In the Indian market, Emaar partnered MGF Development Limited in the year 2005 to give birth to Emaar MGF entity to participate in the real estate market in India. Barring the setback it received in the alleged property scams Hyderabad which the Dubai Businessman criticizes vehemently, Emaar MGF has taken the Indian real estate market by a storm and it is already at par with other major builders in the country and has become a power to reckon with. Emaar MGF has, since 2005, undertaken projects revolving around construction of luxury residential townships in multiple cities in India along with creation of Information technology parks, business centers, business hubs and other commercial properties. While Emaar has not yet declared its ambitions in India but it should just be a matter of time before it plans to replicate its other business models in the country, much like it did in Dubai where it not only constructs but also actively manages and operates the commercial properties created by the company.
