When you have your own clients, your schedule can still be flexible, but in different ways.

Little breaks don’t need to be scheduled. This means you can stick to your overall schedule and still get quick things done.

The problem can be that too much will interfere with your productivity. You should be able to work into a good rhythm, and stopping messes that up, and it takes time to get back into it.
