Many people begin their first steps in the world of work in what is known as the hospitality and service industry. Naturally this is going to be a very stressful job, the kind of job that is not suited to everyone. The head chef is normally the person who is in charge of the kitchen, so they will examine how that person is doing and then decide whether or not they are going to keep them on.

This kind of work is usually the best way for the inexperienced to find some part time work when they are young. Naturally it is incredibly menial, but there is not much responsibility that comes with it either.

For college students, it is often going to be perfect. There will usually only be work involved during the hours that the person is actually in the restaurant. One normally doesn\’t have to think about it once they leave.
