NFL Tickets – Brett Favre Pulls Infamous Retiring Act Again

For the third year in a row, Brett Favre has attracted loads of media attention as he vacillates between the land of retirement and the thought of coming back for another year of rough-and-tumble action on the football field. Favre’s premature retirement in 2008 caused a scene in Green Bay when the future Hall-of-Fame quarterback chose to come back for another season, and his last couple years have been full of twists and turns as the Brett Favre Saga rages on.

This offseason, Favre is all but expected to make a return to Minnesota to play at least one more season with the Vikings, as last year was his most prolific of perhaps his entire career. Defying the standards for life at age 40, Favre threw for an impressive 4,202 yards with 33 touchdowns and seven interceptions last year for the Vikings, leading the team into the playoffs and so very close to a victory over the New Orleans Saints for the NFC division championship.

Favre has begun to spark questions throughout the football realm already this offseason as to whether or not he will lead the charge against the Saints for revenge this year, but the famed QB has recently dropped a few hints that eases the minds of Vikings fans.
Speaking recently with ESPN, Favre backed up his Brand Viagra claim that he would “love to go beat the Saints,” which he told to Minnesota’s Sun Herald in the offseason. Still, he isn’t ready to make a decision on the 2010-11 season just yet.

No. 4 cialis cheap told ESPN, “If my body was a wreck, the decision would be made. But that is not the case. I know [the Vikings] want to know. Hell, I want to know. But I am not going to press it. If I do not play, it does not cost the Vikings a dime. They keep the $13 million. I know they have confidence in the players they have. They had a chance to draft [Notre Dame QB Jimmy] Clausen in the first round, but they didn’t want one.”

Favre had offseason surgery on his left ankle this year, but rehabbing it doesn’t seem to be a factor when considering a return for next season. The Minnesota Vikings are coming off a red-hot year in the NFL, and this might just be the year for the Vikes to win a Super Bowl ring, which would provide the perfect opportunity for Favre to announce a permanent retirement from the league.

Enthusiasts of No. 4 in Minnesota – and even his diehard fans from Green Bay – are anxious to see if the iconic quarterback will come back to play with the Vikings for one more season, and Brett Favre is certainly a name that sells NFL tickets around the NFL. Will Favre continue his faux retiring saga for one more year or will he finally call it quits? It’s all to come this offseason but Vikes fans can rest assured that while Brett Favre continues to play out the waiting game for one more season, this year looks much more promising for his comeback than it did this time last year!
