Tampa Bay Buccaneers Tickets – Bucs Add New Talent for 2010

The 2009 season was a disappointing one for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. In 2008, they finished third in the NFC South with a record of 9-7. After that season, the Bucs released head coach Jon Gruden and replaced him with Raheem Morris. The transition wasn’t an easy one, and the Bucs finished at the bottom of the NFC South in 2009 with a record of 3-13. Interestingly enough, one of their wins came against fellow NFC South contenders the New Orleans Saints, who went on to win the Super Bowl last season.

One of the major changes came to the offensive line when the Bucs added veteran Kamagra Gold guard Keydrick Vincent. The Bucs signed the veteran to a two-year contract just weeks before training camp, and he is expected to add protection against the pass rush. He is no stranger to the NFC South, because he spent the last two seasons with the Carolina Panthers. He started his career with the Pittsburgh Steelers in 2001, working his way to a starter by his third season. He left the Steelers to join the Baltimore Ravens for two seasons in 2005. In 2007, he played for the Arizona Cardinals.

Vincent isn’t the only recent addition to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The team has added center Donovan Raiola to the lineup, but Raiola will have to work hard to make the final roster. He played college football for the University of Wisconsin and entered the league as an undrafted free agent in 2006. That year, he was added to the St. Louis Rams’ practice squad, where he spent multiple seasons. Along with the Rams, he has also been with the Pittsburgh Steelers, Seattle Seahawks, Arizona Cardinals and Chicago Bears. To make room for Raiola on the roster, the Bucs released center Jeff Tow-Arnett.

The Bucs also added new talent with rookie safety Matt O’Hanlon. Hanlon went undrafted in this year’s NFL Draft, but he was picked up by the Carolina Panthers as an undrafted free agent. The Carolina Panthers released him and the Bucs claimed him off of waivers. If Hanlon makes the final roster of the Bucs, it wouldn’t be the first time that he exceeded expectations. He started his college football career as a walk-on at Nebraska. He worked his way to being an honorable mention on the All-Big 12 in 2009 on two different lists.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers head to training camp at One Buccaneer Place on Saturday, July 31 and end on Friday, Aug. 6. The next day, Aug. 7, the team holds their annual Nick Practice at Raymond Stadium. A week later, the Bucs begin their preseason with an away game against the Miami Dolphins on Aug. 14. During the preseason, they also face the Kansas City Chiefs, Jacksonville Jaguars and Houston Texans.

The Bucs’ regular season kicks off on Sept. 12 when they host the Cleveland Browns. This could be a turnaround season for the Bucs, and fans will want to reserve Tampa Bay Buccaneers tickets online today.
